The Care at Beech Lawn
At Beech Lawn we pride ourselves on being able to provide comprehensive short and long term packages, carefully designed to meet the needs of each individual.
On duty 24 hours a day, our dedicated multi-disciplined team provides high quality care appropriate to individual needs. Our key focus is providing a safe, homely and supported environment with a positive person centred approach.
The Beech Lawn Team carry out ‘life story’ work using our ‘Golden Years’ methodology so that appropriate care plans can be tailored. Building a life story fosters a positive relationship and develops a genuine understanding of an individual’s life, needs and interests before they developed dementia. Care Plans are also developed with the help and input of relatives, in order to support each individual resident according to their precise needs. The plans are regularly reviewed, to ensure that appropriate care is delivered at all times.
Staff Experience and Training
We maintain a culture of total quality, all staff are qualified and have extensive experience and we believe the continual training and updating support plays a major role in guaranteeing our high standards are maintained. Most training takes place in-house with visiting trainers and also from our own qualified staff which ensures that staff continually develop and update their skills and practices.
All Residents or their family advocate need to sign for the Consent to Care and a number of other matters that we need to be kept on our records. If the rersident does not have their capacity then it is their next of kin / Advocate should sign. This is a legal requirement and kept in the Residents Care Plan enabling us to act in a proper manor in the interests of the resident.
